Techtonica is a first-person factory automation game set beneath the surface of an alien planet. Work alone or in co-op to build factories, gather resources, research new technologies, mold the destructible terrain, establish a base of operations, and uncover long-forgotten secrets.
The Issue: PC Shuts off after 10-15 minutes
Quite the odd issue but I have tried playing this game multiple times with a friend and after 10-15 minutes my PC just shuts off. Checked temps of CPU/MOBO/GPU while playing and everything looks ok. Ran a heaven benchmark for an hour and everything was fine. Played a bunch of other games for hours without issue. Specs listed below and any help is appreciated.
System Specifications:
- MOBO: Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro
- CPU: 5800X3D
- GPU: 3080 (Zotac)
- PSU: Seasonic 850W 80+ Gold
Possible Solutions
Update: Posting here for visibility but scaling down to low settings and vsync off seems to have stopped my issue. Will try some other settings and post back here.
